A greener future is possible and all the countries in the Mediterranean basin has got the potential to achieve the objective of producing more renewable energy (al least 20% of the entire production per country). What is needed is promoting policies and CIRCE can be of help in setting up the right decisions: this is the opinion of Houda Ben Jannet Allal, renewable energy and sustainable development senior researcher at Observatoire Méditerranéen de l’énergie (Ome), as she told Mauro Scanu (CIRCE communication office) on the occasion of the CIRCE First Stakeholders meeting in Paris.
